Departure ATX was formed in 2015 in Austin, Texas by Jesse Monaghan and Joel Godson. The two then went and found Scott Olsen and Mark Ramsey. From there the band auditioned lead singers through trial and error until Mark called a guy by the name of Ryan Holley. Holley Joined the group in late 2015 and took over the lead vocal role. The Band has developed a reputation around the state of Texas for delivering a power house, arena style rock show. The is first and foremost about the music. If you don't have a respect for the bands you are covering then your cover band career will be short lived. So with that in mind the band rehearses practically non stop when not performing to ensure that they are at the top of their game when they hit the stage.
