David Isely (Free Show)

Like a live oak tree left standing in the wake of a tornado, David Isely writes songs packed with real life stories digging deep into the soul while conveying a strong sense of excitement and intrigue that comes with living life with everything you got. David is a craftsman, a songwriter, and a guitar player and that is what gives his music an original and adventurous feel that is hard to pin down. He crafts his songs on the guitar he built by hand. Songs you can think to while drinking or drink to while thinking. 

Nothing New’ is David’s first full length album released in 2021 that features the soul searching single “Good Man”. Since its release, the song has received 26,000 streams on Spotify. The album takes a lot of twists and turns with songs like “Memory” that tells a tale of betrayal inspired by real people in his life. “Lonely Alone” is an emotional waltz about a relationship on the rocks and “No One Else Tonight” is a love song written for the woman who is still the love of his life. David is currently working on some exciting new songs and has recorded a new single set to be released early 2023. David and his band are playing shows around central Texas anywhere there is a dancefloor and country bumpkins or boot wearing city slickers looking for some good timin’ friends.
